Flame Retardant Starflam Compounds

Starflam compounds are flame retardant (FR) compounds based on polyamide 6 and 6,6 (PA 6 and 66), and PPA base resins. Designed primarily for the electronic component industry, Starflam compounds are electrically insulative and can be formulated to meet many electrical norms, including IEC 60695 (glow wire), UL 94, UL 508, NF16-101 and 16-102. Halogen-free and red phosphorous-free Starflam compounds are also available for applications to help meet today's stricter environmental standards.
